Our history

The first LA ÚNICA restaurant is born in Polanco, Mexico City. Its innovative concept of a contemporary Mexican cantina, with an extensive land and sea menu, is inspired by the regional cuisines of the Pacific coast and the north of the country.

Following its success in Polanco, the LA ÚNICA group continues to expand in Mexico by opening its second restaurant in San Miguel de Allende. A space located in an imposing colonial building with a central courtyard and majestic stone arches and contemporary interiors that will take your breath away.

LA ÚNICA is born in the city of Puebla, in the central region of Mexico.

The international expansion began with the opening of the first restaurant in Cartagena de Indias, Colombia. Within the Walled City, LA ÚNICA offers a fun space where friends can enjoy our gastronomic approach accompanied by incredible cocktails and some mariachi surprises.

The first restaurant in Europe is born with the opening of LA ÚNICA in Madrid. This space created in the Salamanca neighbourhood promises to become the place to be in the capital.
